the patch looks fine, I've applied it to master.

The pubkey and autopubkey auth function should be reworked to get the key from 
the private key if we can't find a public key.

If I look at the keyfiles.c file I see a lot of work for us. This should be 
clean up but first I have to cleanup the connect functions.
