tutorial/example sftp in non blocking mode

Hi,
Can someone point me to an example/tutorial that shows using ssh and sftp
in fully non-blocking mode?  It appears that only certain functions return
*_AGAIN? Do you utilize a function that returns *_AGAIN when possible and
utilize the standard functions otherwize?
