We build libssh v0.5.0 against debug and release runtimes on Windows and Linux, CMake is responsible for configuring the linking.
On Visual Studio solutions you can select debug or release builds, which presumably controls the runtime it links to.

Is there a reason why versions ( 0.5.0 -> 0.5.2 ) for Windows were built against the DEBUG version ( MSVCR100D.DLL ). This presents a problem because we can't re-distribute Microsoft's DEBUG version of the DLL. Can this be rebuilt with the RUNTIME version instead?-Bruce- ...............................
